Absolutely not. You only pay the access fee once – it simply allows us to set the program up for your account. Once you're set up, you'll have access for life.

You can rent up to 10 books at a time. Once you've returned your books, you'll be eligible to rent up to 10 more.

We process all orders within 24-48 hours, and typical shipping times with USPS are 3-5 business days.

We currently limit each book's rental period to 10 days so that everybody can get a chance to enjoy it.

Books will arrive like-new, but may contain minor imperfections such as a scratched cover or folded pages.

Prior to shipping your books, we'll ensure that there are no major imperfections that could impact their readability or enjoyment.

Standard wear-and-tear of books is acceptable, as we expect these books to be read and loved. Should you scratch the book or accidentally fold a page, don't worry – we've got you covered.

Significant damage, lost books, and theft are not covered. In those cases, you will be charged the full purchase price of affected books.

If you like a book so much you'd like to keep it forever, simply exclude the book from your return and we'll charge you its purchase price minus the rental fee.

You will have 2 (two) days to submit a return once your 10-day rental period is over. If you cannot make it in this window, please send us an email notifying us in advance.

Please note that failing to return items in the time frame outlined above will result in a charge equal to the total price of books you have rented.

When you place an order, we authorize two separate amounts.

One amount, which is collected upon order placement, covers the Rental fee and, possibly, shipping.

Similar to a ride-share or a taxi, the second amount reserves your funds. This way, if you'd like to keep any rented books, you can simply hold on to them – we'll deduct their purchase price and release the rest. If you decide to return all rented books, this pre-authorization will disappear, and no part of it will be collected.
